Οι 100 καλύτεροι δίσκοι ροκ μουσικής

 

Το παιγνίδι με τις λίστες πάντα έχει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον. Ποιες είναι οι καλύτερες ταινίες, τα καλύτερα αυτοκίνητα, τα καλύτερα βιβλία, οι καλύτεροι δίσκοι. Τέτοιες λίστες κυκλοφορούν πολλές, σε ειδικά περιοδικά, βιβλία, sites που ασχολούνται με το ανάλογο αντικείμενο. Συνήθης τρόπος σύνταξης τέτοιων λιστών, είναι (συνήθως σε περιοδικά) να προτείνουν διάφοροι, ειδικοί και μη, τα δέκα καλύτερα από το εξεταζόμενο είδος, και με μια ειδική βαθμολογία να καταγράφονται τα καλύτερα 10, 100 κοκ. Όταν κάποιος προσπαθεί να φτιάξει μια λίστα με τους καλύτερους δίσκους, όπως κάνω τώρα εδώ εγώ, και αυτή η επιλογή γίνεται μέσα από πάρα πολλούς δίσκους, αντιμετωπίζει ένα μεγάλο πρόβλημα. Ποια είναι τα κριτήρια της όποιας (αριθμητικής) επιλογής;ΑΝ είναι να επιλέξεις τον καλύτερο ή τους 10 καλύτερους (σου) δίσκους, τότε είναι σχετικά εύκολο. Όλοι έχουμε στο μυαλό μας έναν ή δέκα δίσκους που ξεχωρίζουν πολύ περισσότερο από τους υπόλοιπους. Αν όμως θέλεις να επιλέξεις τους 100 καλύτερους (σου), τότε το πράγμα ζορίζει, και ζορίζει αρκετά, βασανιστικά. Τα κριτήρια επιλογής αμβλύνονται, και δεν είναι εύκολο να επιλέξεις κάποιον ανάμεσα σε άλλους που τους θεωρείς εξ ίσου καλούς, και αρχίζεις τις προσθαφαιρέσεις μη γνωρίζοντας μέσα σου γιατί επέλεξες κάποιους και αφαίρεσες άλλους. 

                               

Στην λίστα των 100 καλύτερων μου δίσκων της ροκ μουσικής που ακολουθεί (ανάμεσα σε 6000 περίπου ροκ δίσκους της δισκοθήκης μου),  η επιλογή είναι καθαρά προσωπική, με μοναδικό κριτήριο το συναισθηματικό δέσιμο με αυτούς και την μουσική απόλαυση που συνεχίζουν να μου προσφέρουν. Δεν μπήκαν κριτήρια εμπορικά (πόσο πούλησαν) ή πως θεωρείται ο καθένας από αυτούς στην παγκόσμια ροκ κοινότητα και τι γνώμη έχουν άλλοι (ο μόνος περιορισμός είναι έως 2 δίσκοι  για κάθε μουσικό ή γκρουπ, για πιο μεγάλη αντιπροσώπευση). Απ' έξω έμειναν άλλοι τόσοι περίπου, εξίσου πολύ καλοί δίσκοι. Δεν παρουσιάζονται αξιολογικά αλλά χρονολογικά. Θα μπορούσε να είναι και μία πολύ καλή βασική ροκ δισκοθήκη. 
Τελικά δεν είναι 100 αλλά 101. Αυτός ο ένας  (που δεν ξέρω ποιος είναι) αντιπροσωπεύει αυτούς που έμειναν εκτός λίστας
